Getting help and saving evidence are two separate choices. CLARKE’s automatic learning-history saving starts off. A one-time opt-in enables minimal saving within the scope you choose — and even then, it keeps permitted learning context and source references, never your raw questions, answers, or client attachments. Anything richer needs your separate go-ahead. The AI services you use have their own retention controls, and CLARKE doesn’t change them.

Does CLARKE record my conversations?

No. Saving starts off, and even with opt-in, CLARKE keeps permitted learning context — the topic area and supporting sources — not raw questions, answers, or client attachments.

What about my AI service’s own data retention?

External AI services have their own retention controls and policies. CLARKE doesn’t change them — check your provider’s settings.

Will this earn me CPE credit automatically?

No. Learning evidence supports evaluation; whether it qualifies for credit depends on applicable rules and the authorities that recognize it. CLARKE doesn’t grant credit or promise regulator acceptance.

Does CLARKE replace traditional CPE?

No. It’s designed to complement established professional education — documenting the learning that happens between courses, not replacing them.

Five Storm Systems was formed on August 31, 2026 by four state CPA organizations who decided they’d rather build the future together than wait for it:

CLARKE is the company’s first product initiative — currently in development, with the product design under review. An advisory council drawn from the profession is being formed to guide how learning evidence gets evaluated.
